Members
There are eleven members on Mostyn Community Council and they are split into two wards. There are eight members for the MOSTYN ward and three for the RHEWL ward.
Meetings
The Council meets on the third Monday in each month with the exception of August and December when there is a recess. The Annual Meeting is held in May of each year. All meetings are held in the Mostyn Community Centre and commence at 7.00pm. If necessary, Special meetings of the Council can be arranged. Members of the Public are welcome to attend meetings of the Council.

Planning
Flintshire County Council is the Planning Authority but the Community Council is consulted on Planning Applications. These applications are considered at Council meetings following which the observations of the Council are submitted to the planning authority. The Community Council does not have the power to refuse or grant planning permission.
